Places I'm Definitely Visiting After Coronavirus

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few weeks, you’ve obviously heard about the Coronavirus and how it’s limiting both domestic and international travel. Well, as soon as this clears up, I'm traveling, and here's where I'm going.

Australia

Most people think I’m crazy when I tell them I want to go down under. They tell me about how many weird animals are there but I was never scared of what I saw on animal planet. There’s so much awesome stuff in Australia and I made a lot of friends in college who were either from there, or went their for their study abroad experience. This is definitely a place that I intend to visit when it’s safe to travel again.

Argentina

One thosand percent truth, I have no idea why I want to go here. But there’s something inside me that always wanted to visit Argentina.

Italy

Ahh, the homeland. I can’t wait to be able to take a multi-week trip just to Italy. I want to explore the major tourist areas like Milan and Rome, but I also want to go to the country and experience typical life. We’re able to trace my family back pretty far so I would love to see exactly where we came from.

Greece

Doesn’t the one girl in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants go to Greece? I think that’s where this desire came from. Not much of a “reason” but whatever sparks you, I guess? I would love to see the ruins and all of the mythological stuff you learn about in school.

Alaska

I love winter, and having an endless winter sounds amazing to me. I met a woman at a nail salon once who told me that 18 degree winters in New Jersey are warm compared to the winters she would have in Alaska. I know people who have both visited, and relocated to Alaska, all of them saying wonderful things about the experience. I don’t know if I could ever completely relocate, but I could definitely visit!

Brazil

Again, I can’t really pin-point what made me want to go here. I think it could be really cool to completely immerse in a different culture.

Paris

From what I’ve learned so far, I’m not entirely sure if I’m the type of person that could vibe with French culture. I mostly just want to see the Eiffle Tower and the Arc de Triumph. But hey, maybe I’ll find that France is where I belong?

South Korea

A few years ago a really good friend of mine got really into K-Pop and K-Culture. So, of course, she influenced me a little and now I have a true appreciation for the entertainment industry and lifestyle of South Korea. So many social influencers, beauty products, and bands come out of South Korea and I think experiencing that culture could be an awesome experience.

South Africa

I read about a volunteer trip to help wildlife a few years ago. Ever since then, I can’t get the thought of visiting out of my head. This is definitely an experience I will have in the next few years.

Where are you going to travel once it’s safe to travel again?
